Advance Lifts Warranty Procedure

 

In our continuing effort to make certain all warranty issues are resolved in a prompt and efficient manner, please follow this warranty procedure.

1. Before any warranty work is performed on an Advance Lifts unit, the factory must be notified by phone or e-mail. We will not honor invoices for warranty if we are not notified before work begins.

2. As a private contractor you must obtain a purchase/work order from the end user of the unit. This will protect your company in the event that the nature of the work is not honored as a warranty matter.

3. You will need to have the serial number of the unit when contacting the factory. You will also need a copy of the owners’ manual available and on site when you perform service on the unit. If the customer does not have the manual please call the factory or download a copy of the manual by clicking on the "Service Manuals" tab above.

4. From the job site, determine the problem and what materials or parts are needed to complete the repairs and call the Advance Lifts service department at 1-800-843-3625 and report your findings. (Be sure to mention to our telephone operator that you are “on site” to be forwarded immediately to a service technician).

5. At this time you will be issued a “warranty work authorization number” or if the unit has been damaged, misused or misapplied, warranty considerations may be denied and all charges then become the responsibility of the owner.

6. Once a warranty work authorization number is given you may proceed with the work and be assured that your warranty work will be paid promptly.
